SOUNDSTREAM - Maximum Drive [Album Review]

The latest artists to come our way, an Ukrainian electronic music group that goes by the name SOUNDSTREAM. The latest album release by this group is a 2015 release called Maximum Drive. The album is 16 epic tracks of pure techno goodness. The elements which make up this album are very reminiscent of the electronic music of the late 90s - early 2000s. Each track on this album is a high energy dance experience made for the club scene. Each song is a unique masterpiece and at times I feel there is some psytrance influences lurking in there.

My top three favorite songs from this album are “Maximum Drive”, “No Way 2 Hide” and “Rock Da House”. Each one of these songs is sure to get you moving with their heavy drums and smooth catchy melodies. “Rock Da House”at times, reminds me of the work of Skazi as it includes the elements of rock music and trance. If you are looking for something a little different and more heavy that that of the mainstream EDM, SOUNDSTREAM is for you.

SOUNDSTREAM's history begins in 2008, when two students of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, - Denis Timish (DJ FatCat) and Alexander Bulanov (Bulya), - decided to create a music band. In early April 2009 SOUNDSTREAM recorded its debut album entitled Number One, which contains all band's tracks recorded since 2008. This album was very successful on the Internet. Later the band wold include vocalist Daria Bezkorovayna. The band has topped charts on various radio stations worldwide and on the web. Their biggest influences are Cascada, DJ Manian, Scooter, 90s Eurodance.

Maximum Drive is a must have for all fans of electronic dance music. All 16 tracks are available for FREE download at (link below).
